Tiger Hill Park was originally part of a large holding of land (570 acres) held by a Mr Fred Wallace. It was purchased by Lex Devitt around 1954 and he lived here until he died in 2010. It is now approximately 270 acres having been subdivided (from Blue Gums) to suit the terrain. It is most easily accessible from Molyullah. Lex and his brother-in-law, Bill, built a small cottage shortly after using local logs for stumps and they had timber from the property milled in Greta for the outside cladding. The cottage still stands and is used for visitors. It is comfortable but not precious so we get plenty of people happy to stay and relax.
This property carries about 50 breeders and has 6 large dams and one very large dam. Power runs throughout the property and the main paddocks have been fertilized. There is a seasonal creek, Sam's Creek, which runs through the property commencing high up where it forms a 90ft waterfall before winding through the property. There is a spring which produces a constant but small flow of spring water from a gap in the rock. This was originally used as the water source for the cottage but is not required these days due to good rainwater storage. The spring water still runs.

There is a large new hayshed (holds 180 rolls); a three bay machinery shed; and an old dairy with a concrete floor and mains power connected in addition to the cottage on this property. Ongoing supply of firewood and building stone available. The view down the valley from the cottage verandah is probably the best view on the whole property. There are other building sites which include this view plus more which would make spectacular building sites.
